Tramshed’s Generator programme is a performance opportunity for emerging and mid-career artists, companies and collectives to be part of a monthly double bill on the third Friday of every month.
March’s Generator will be a double bill of new work from artists Ella McGran & H.R.H. Aphrodite I.
Operation Shrink, 7:30pm
Operation Shrink is an autobiographical solo show that delves into my personal struggles with an eating disorder. More deeply, the show discusses my diagnosis of ‘Atypical Anorexia’ and what it means to be an Anorexic that isn’t underweight. The show breaks down our expectations of what someone with an eating disorder might look like and touches upon themes of obsessive exercise, misunderstandings within the medical system, the toxicity of the dance industry, and emotional abuse.

Princess Diana Spencer is considered one of the most fashionable women to have ever graced the public eye. From her engagement to Prince Charles in the early 80’s right through to her death in the late 90’s, British tabloids continue to fill their pages, obsessed with talking about her. Step into HRH Aphrodite I’s pop-up auction, as she sells off some of her very own ‘Princess of Wales’ looks.
